A Short Story
|
|
Cornelia is an older lady (the syrup lady's
mom) who used to live in Arizona and loved
patronizing the pancake houses, where she would delight in trying
all the different kinds of syrup available ... her favorite was the
apricot syrup!
When Cornelia moved to Washington, she seemed unable to find a good apricot syrup to drown her pancakes in, so she asked her daughter to try and make some for her.

|
Cindy went to work trying to come up with the very best possible apricot syrup for her Mom. She used the ripest and sweetest apricots, the least amount of sugar and no water at all. She produced a fantastic small batch of brightly hued apricot syrup ... her Mom was thrilled, called a few friends, Cindy made more ... and more and more. So that is the story. She has committed herself to never compromising the quality of the product and even though she now produces many bottles of it, she has remained true to her commitment.
